The base trim level comes equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine that provides an impressive 280 horsepower with 262 lb-ft of torque. It comes available in either a standard 6-speed or available 9-speed automatic transmission that also has paddle shifters.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious cabin with comfortable seating for up to eight passengers and 152.9 cubic feet of passenger volume. You can also enjoy up to 109.0 cubic feet of cargo space, which is perfect for loading up for the big tailgate or moving that large dresser across town.
The LX also comes with the Honda Sensing® suite, which provides an extra set of eyes while traveling down busy roads.
The second trim level in the Pilot lineup, the EX provides the same kind of power and spaciousness of the LX, but with a number of key upgrades to its cabin and tech features. The EX comes with Remote Engine Start along with a Smart Entry feature, which makes the process of getting out the front door and onto the road a lot faster.
Inside, you’ll find nice touches like the Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control. This is designed to keep each passenger cool and comfortable no matter where they’re seated inside the cabin. You can also now connect to your personal smartphone and use its various applications on the upgraded 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™.
The EX-L trim takes a turn toward luxury by providing passengers with premium features like leather-trimmed seats, a power moonroof, and a 4-way power passenger’s seat.
There’s also an available rear entertainment system that’s perfect for keeping the family entertained on long road trips. The Pilot EX-L also comes with a power tailgate. This will make loading and unloading cargo in and out of your Pilot easier.
The Touring continues to add more premium features to this SUV. The exterior is built with roof rails, 20-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free access power tailgate, and LED headlights with auto on/off.
The Touring also comes standard with a 10-speaker premium audio system and Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ to provide added peace-of-mind for wherever you may venture. The whole family can also stay connected while using their personal devices with the mobile hotspot capability inside the Pilot Touring.
The top trim level comes standard with tech features that were only offered as upgrades in lower trims along with more luxurious materials inside the cabin.
You and your passengers will enjoy features like the leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and perforated leather front- and second-row seats. The Elite also has rain-sensing windshield wipers, which will automatically turn on when it starts to rain.
