Honda Campus All-Star Challenge
Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (HCASC) is America’s premier academic quiz competition for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
In 2019, student teams from 48 HBCUs gathered in Los Angeles for the HCASC National Championship Tournament. In a two-game sweep against Florida A&M University, Spelman College became the first all-female team to win the championship
title.
More than 150,000 HBCU scholars have participated in HCASC since 1989. Honda has awarded over $9 million in grants through HCASC to help fund tuition and book scholarships, student development initiatives, endowment and development
campaigns, as well as facilities and equipment.
March On
Honda Battle of the Bands celebrates the history and supports the musical talents of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities marching bands. Eight bands rocked Atlanta in 2020, performing for a crowd of nearly 60,000
fans.
Eagle Rock School: Engaging Underserved Students
Founded and solely funded by Honda, Eagle Rock School is a nationally recognized, full academic high school in Colorado that emphasizes experiential education and project-based learning for students who feel disconnected in traditional
academic settings.
Eagle Rock School has launched the award-winning documentary, “All Who Dare.” The film centers on the 24-day wilderness expedition that is a required part of the orientation process for all new students, and highlights the
