First, check out the vehicle comparison below then stop in to your local Honda dealer near Palm Beach, Greenacres, and Boca Raton, Braman Honda of Palm Beach.
Vehicle Performance Comparison
The 2016 Honda Pilot is powered by the advanced engine engineered by Honda. The engine is a V6 aluminum-alloy 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC that includes a drive-by-wire throttle system, direct fuel injection, an Eco Assist system, Active Noise Cancellation, and variable cylinder management. This engine produces an astounding 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also offers a six-speed automatic transmission with shift-by-wire with available paddle shifters.
A 4.0-liter V6 DOHC 24-valve engine with Dual Independent Variable Valve Timing with intelligence powers the 2015 Toyota 4Runner. This engine is paired with a five-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with intelligence and sequential shift mode. The pair produces 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque, meaning there’s not as much power as with the 2016 Honda Pilot.
Interior Comfort and Convenience Features
Once you step inside the 2016 Honda Pilot, you’ll immediately understand what all of the fuss is about. The Pilot’s interior is spacious and offers enough seating and elbow room for up to eight passengers. The vehicle offers plenty of legroom for each passenger, too, including the third row.
For your convenience, entertainment, and comfort, the vehicle offers a multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines, a seven-speaker stereo system with USB port and Bluetooth, and tri-zone automatic climate control with humidity control and air filtration.
Along with the seemingly endless list of standard features, the 2016 Honda Pilot offers an impressive list of additional features, including a rear-seat entertainment system, a navigation system, SiriusXM satellite radio, a 10-speaker stereo system, front and rear parking sensors, and a power sunroof.
The Toyota 4Runner comes standard with some great features, but you’ll notice that its interior materials aren’t as quality as those in the Pilot. Its Entune infotainment system is also slow to respond, which can be irritating for anyone who’s used to advanced technology, such as what you’ll find in the 2016 Honda Pilot.
