The event will end around 1:00 p.m., just in time for all of you to get home and get ready for the events of the evening. New Year’s Celebration at Old School Square Park
If you’re looking for a family-friendly event that everyone can enjoy, then this is the one for you. This kid-friendly and parent-friendly event will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on December 31st, 2016 at Old School Square Park. The event will give your entire family the opportunity to spend some time with the local community, and still get home in time to watch the ball drop in New York City from the comfort of your own home.
The event will end at 9:00 p.m. with an incredible fireworks show that’s sure to be a talking point for weeks to come. Parking for the event will run you $5.00, so be sure to bring cash on hand if you plan to park in one of the local public parking garages. Also, please note that on the day of the event, Atlantic Avenue will be closed from Swinton to 3rd Street.
New Year’s Big Band Blast by Indian River Pops
If parties and big gatherings aren’t really your thing, then consider stopping over to the Eissey Campus Theatre at Palm Beach State College. Indian River Pops, the New Gardens Band, and The Dreamers Swing Band will delight with their incredibly honed musical stylings that are perfect for ringing in the new year with the whole family.
The event will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31st and tickets are on sale now at the Eissey Campus Theatre Ticket Office. Tickets for each person will run you just $35.00, with all students from kindergarten to college getting half price with a student I.D..
