The Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival is coming to you this November, and the event is already shaping up to be the best one yet. Check out all of the exciting details below.
The 2015 Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival will take place this year on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8. The event will be held from 11 am until 10 pm on Saturday and from 11 am until 7 pm on Sunday at Downtown Delray Beach. Specifically, you can use the intersection at A1A and Atlantic Avenue to find the event.
With free admission, there’s no reason to miss this annual event. Take a stroll along the beautiful streets of Delray and enjoy some time with your community as well as a delicious glass of wine and some tasty seafood.
In addition to a variety of delicious food and drinks, the event will feature an eclectic group of local crafters and artisans offering their wares. You’ll also be able to enjoy some amazing live music on the main stage while you socialize.
To keep the admission free for festival-goers like yourself, the event is sponsored by local organizations. These sponsors include Coastal Supply Company, Hyatt Place, Delray Medical Center, Seaside Builders, Storm Tight Windows, Smoke Inn, Cupcake Vineyards, Heineken Light, Coca Cola, Gold Coast, South Florida Food & Wine, The Pineapple, Atlantic Ave Magazine, Clear Channel Outdoor, and Luna Rosa.
Food and Wine
The food and wine list for the Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival gets more delectable every day, and it can only get better from here.
In terms of food, the event will feature all of your favorites, including garlic mussels, clam strips, crawfish, crab bites, salmon BLTs, lobster rolls, fried oysters, conch salad, grilled salmon, shrimp and pesto flatbread, fish tacos, calamari, shrimp and grits, coconut shrimp, and whole belly clams.
The wine list for the event isn’t currently available, but you can expect that it will be up as the event gets closer.
The 2015 Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival will feature some amazing seminars on how to make the best wine and food pairings. There are 60 tickets available per seminar and you’ll have to purchase those in advance. A couple of seminars are sold out already, so be sure to get your tickets quick if you’re interested.
On November 7, you can choose from seminars with executive chefs Bruce Feingold and Ernesto DeBlasio, owner Bo Eaton, and brewmaster Dustin Jeffers. On November 8, there will be an interactive chefs panel and brunch plus seminars with executive chefs Paul Niedermann, Eric Baker, and Jarod Higgins.
While admission to the festival is free, you’ll want to get your tickets to the seminars in advance if you want to get a seat. You can visit the official event website to purchase tickets to the seminars that you’re interested in. Tickets to each seminar seat are $50.
