2015 Holiday Boat Parade Boynton Beach

While you’re busy making your holiday plans for December, remember that the Boynton Beach Annual Holiday Boat Parade is quickly approaching. Set for the second week of December, the parade should be every bit as exciting as it was last year, and we’ve got the details for you right here.

Read All About It

This year’s Holiday Boat Parade marks the 44th anniversary of the annual event. It kicks off at 5:30 pm on Friday, December 11. This free event is the perfect opportunity for spending time with your family and joining your community in the festivities.

What can you expect? A fleet of boats will be brightly lit and lined up at the Lantana Bridge near Old Key Lime House. The boats will move south along the Intracoastal Waterway to the C-15 canal in Delray, according to the official event website.

The parade itself will begin promptly at 6:30 pm, but you’ll want to have a cozy seat long before then so you have a prime viewing spot. There are plenty of great viewing areas at the Boynton Harbor Marina, the Intracoastal Park, and along the parade route. While this is a no-pets event, it’s perfect for the rest of the family, including kids young and old.

If you plan to enjoy the event, consider bringing some camp chairs, blankets, and snacks. Another idea is to grab some picnic blankets and pillows and get comfy so you can fully enjoy the parade experience.

For a Good Cause

In addition to being a great family-friendly event, the Boynton Beach Holiday Boat Parade is a charitable event. The Boynton Beach 7th Annual Toys for Tots Drive will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

The US Marines will make dockside donation pickups along the parade route, so just bring your donation and enjoy the parade! Even if you don’t attend the 2015 parade, you can still bring your donation to one of the four drop off locations around the area: City Hall, Civic Center, Senior Center, and Boynton Beach CRA.

Other Local Events

If the Holiday Boat Parade on December 11 doesn’t work for your schedule, there are a few other holiday-themed events going on in the area.
