food truck face off delray beach, flDuring the first annual Food Truck Face Off, you’ll have the opportunity to taste unique food truck specialties and local craft beers while you enjoy live entertainment in downtown Delray Beach. If that doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, we don’t know what does!

The event will take place on Saturday, September 12 from 4 until 8 pm at the Old School Square at 51 North Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach, FL. Tickets are $35 for adults and $5 for kiddos under 12. The price of the ticket includes a $10 food voucher, unlimited craft beer sampling from local breweries, and a raffle ticket.

Charitable Competition

The Food Truck Face Off is a battle of up to 13 food trucks that will judged by event attendees. The top three food truck vendors will earn a reward and bragging rights.

A portion of the proceeds from the admission fees will be donated to the GIVE N GO Project, which was founded to create a team atmosphere for children without families. The charity project focuses on orphaned and abandoned children in both the United States and developing countries.

Food Trucks

Below is some information about just a few of the food trucks that will be competing in the Food Truck Face Off this year:

Curbside Gourmet

This truck is the first gourmet food truck in Palm Beach County, and it offers fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal meals. Their goal is to bridge the gap between fast food and fine dining in West Palm Beach, and their amazing menu definitely fits the bill. The truck opened in December 2010 and has an amazingly loyal following.

DR Smokehouse

This mobile vending and catering business provides competition-grade smoked barbecued and grilled meats flavored with special blends of spice rubs, hardwood smoke, and sauces. They offer all of the classic BBQ dishes you could want, and their interesting and delicious sides round out the amazing meal.

It’s A Cubano B

This family-run food truck offers Cuban-inspired dishes with an interesting and unique twist. Chef Rob Menendez worked for 10 years in restaurants in Boca Raton and Delray Beach before going at it with the help of his father and sister. Now the truck is well-known in the area and is a huge hit with local breweries.
